FEMA provides Public Assistance grant funding for administrative costs directly related to Projects Worksheets preparation. The following list of approved tasks highlight only some of the eligible “Direct Administrative Costs” (DAC) used to administer the Public Assistance Program:
Project Listing & Development Tasks:
- Assemble detailed damage listing.
- Prepare Project Worksheet files.
- Prepare & submit initial damage data & cost estimates.
Project Formulation Tasks:
- Conduct site inspections
- Prepare project specific Disaster Damage Description (DDD)
- Compile and review Project Worksheet proposed Scope of Work (SOW)
- Review Project Worksheets documentation
- Identify, obtain, and review Hazard Mitigation Proposals
PW Processing Tasks:
- Review completed Project Worksheets
- Obtain and process documentation requests from FEMA and State
- Prepare, submit and facilitate needed corrections to project Worksheets
- Identify and process Project Worksheet scope changes (Version requests)
